After co-signing a truck loan with her father, our client found herself in a financial predicament. The father defaulted and was unable to continue the payments, the truck was repossessed, and she, as a co-signer, was left with a responsibility of $40,000.  Given her young age, she feared that her responsibility for the debt could result in a judgment against her.

We began negotiations with the creditor for the debt and reduction of the burden on our client.  In a meticulous negotiation process that involved great persistence, we managed to get the amount reduced from $40,000 to $18,934.33. This was a defining moment in offering real relief to her.

To further support her financial stability, we structured the payment terms and remaining debt into manageable monthly installments of $602. That stipulated that she would comfortably pay while maintaining her living expenses.

Our intervention not only prevented a potential judgment against her but also provided her with a sustainable pathway to resolve the debt.  Having settled the problem, she was back on her feet and moving with her life again.  Her story illustrates how proactive debt negotiation and customized financial solutions are essential in overcoming challenging situations.
